The things I do and products I use to keep a good looking hybrid bermuda grass lawn will be on this page. Best thing I’ve done so far is mow, mow, mow. Giving the yard good fertilizer makes it grow fast, at one point this past year it was growing 1″ in 4 days!! Yikes, good thing I have the Mammotion Luba 2 robot mower to help keep that chore under control. This grass loves to be mowed and kept between 1″-1.5″, much more then that and the “stalk” starts to bark and the green will only be on the top. When to apply treatments… I’ve been following this guy “Doc”, he manages a website called the Bermuda Lawn Guide which has a handy calendar to help decide when to apply what and what chores to do when.

First fertilizer of the year I use a 10 10 10, not to much nitrogen, but a healthy amount of everything to get the yard started for the season. I like the Andersons products and am glad Doc turned me onto them. Amazon link to buy

For my weed killing needs, I’ve really enjoyed the results I get from 2 Ortho products, Weed-B-Gon and Nutsedge Killer.
